All About Ben

Getting to see David Cox Sr. last week brought back memories and made me feel old.

EFP presents ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’

EASLEY — Easley Foothills Playhouse will soon play host to “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.”

The laugh-a-minute play features the meanest kids around. The six Herdman kids lie, steal, cuss and smoke cigars — even the girls. But no one is prepared for what really happens when the rottenest kids in the world take over the greatest story ever told.

It’s a pageant full of surprises for everyone — including the Herdmans

The celebration begins with the traditional tree lighting ceremony in Legacy Square on Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. Pickens will also be celebrating Small Business Saturday on Nov. 30, and officials invite people to shop Historic Pickens and then join in the tree lighting ceremony.
