Silver anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Michael P. Bryan celebrate their 25th wedding Anniversary today, Feb. 8, 2017.
Mrs. Bryan, the former Jennifer Brown, is the daughter of Phillip Anthony Brown of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Mrs. Patricia Brown. Mrs. Bryan is co-owner of Vibrant Marketing Solutions LLC. Mr. Bryan, a history instructor at Greenville Technical College, is the son of Mrs. Margaret Hampe Campbell and the late Graydon E. Bryan. The couple has two children, Myles Bryan and Ivy Bryan, both students at Pickens High School.

Clean up of Highway 123 in the works

COUNTY — Pickens County Sheriff Rick Clark wants to coordinate an effort to clean up litter along U.S. Highway 123.
The sheriff spoke about the issue during a recent Pickens United meeting.
Clark said the effort would use a mixture of state and county resources.
