Local teen takes 1st at nationals
On June 23, Nevaeh Woodson competed at the Dance Machine Dance National Competition held in Rock Hill, along with her dance team from Unlimited Talent dance studio in Seneca. The rising freshman at Daniel High School brought home the national title for top national score for her solo dance, while competing against more than 200 other solo dancers. The team came home with second-place top score for large group dance and many other awards.

Tomatoes: Great any way you slice them

A few years ago I ate lunch at a restaurant near Travelers Rest called The Hungry Drover that featured an absolutely delicious tomato pie.
I’ve eaten quiches in the past with sun-dried tomatoes, onion and bacon, but this pie is not in the quiche category.
The tomato pie recipe featured this week didn’t come from the restaurant, but it is very good
