Happy 65th anniversary
On July 10, 1954, James Worth Pence Jr. of Staunton, Va., married Dorothy Lancaster Folger of Pickens. Jay and Dot were married at Pickens Presbyterian Church, where they remain members today.

The Hagood Senior Center is now offering a new therapeutic chair yoga class. Held from 8:30-9:15 a.m. on Wednesdays in Room 3, there are no charges for the class at this time, but donations for Cheryl Smith are encouraged to help defray her travel expenses. This will be an introductory class for the remainder of July
