EASLEY — Easley fans wanted to know if the Green Wave could bounce back after an emotional loss to archrival Pickens.

Third-ranked Daniel answered that question with a vehement no Friday night, beating the Green Wave, 48-14.

Coming off the close loss the previous week, Liberty head coach Kyle Stewart hoped the Red Devils could at least put themselves in a similar position and have a chance to win, but the Cavaliers proved to be a worthy adversary in the rout.

Though there are certainly no such thing as moral victories when it comes

CLEMSON — After walk-on quarterback Hunter Helms was leading scoring drives and even punter Will Spiers was taking snaps behind center, it was hard to remember the Clemson football team got off to a shaky start Saturday at Georgia Tech.

In the end, though, it ended up being one of the most dominant performances in program history.

Despite coughing up two turnovers in the opening quarter, the Tigers took control of the contest
