Easley to host Senior League World Series after two year absence

EASLEY — After a two year layoff due to COVID-19, the Senior League World Series, which pits the best 13-16 year old baseball players from around the world against each other, will be returning to Pickens County in a little over a week .

Arrest made in Easley killing

EASLEY — A man has been charged after a fatal shooting in Easley last week.
Cordarrell Tashawn Gray, 31, is charged with voluntary manslaughter and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, according to a news release issued Friday by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office.

Man charged with exploiting minor
COUNTY — A Pickens County man was arrested last month and is charged with sexually exploiting a minor, according to a release from the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office.
Daniel Ray Bayne, 25, is charged with three counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, the release said.

Juneteenth now Clemson holiday
