Bakery has new owner

With pumpkin spice season in full swing, Martha’s Marvelous Munchies in Pickens has a new owner, Ashley Brantley. Brantley has bounced right into Martha’s Marvelous Munchies after previous owner Martha Ellenburg decided to retire. The bakery will be keeping its previous hours, Wednesday through Friday, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and looking to expand to Saturday in the future. Brantley wants to uphold what Ellenburg has done and expand the business into local stores for more access to the delicious treats. The bakery will carry delicacies from biscuits to cakes to cinnamon rolls to pimento cheese and more. Looking forward, Brantley will be adding her personal recipes once the heat of the holidays cools off.
