EASLEY — The Easley Green Wave rallied for two touchdowns in the waning moments of Friday night’s game to defeat unbeaten J.L. Mann, 21-14.

Fast start helps Daniel overcome second-half lull

CENTRAL — After a dominant first half against Hart County on Friday night, the Daniel High School football team showed signs of slowing down in the third as the Bulldogs cut their lead from 28-3 to 31-17.
The Lions responded like they have for the entirety of their school-record winning streak, scoring once more and holding the Bulldogs out the rest of the way as they won their 27th consecutive game, 38-17.

Blue Flame hoping to keep positive momentum after week off
PICKENS — Despite a loss to Southside in their last game on Sept. 2, it’s hard to imagine the Pickens Blue Flame are unhappy with their standing midway through non-conference play.

LIBERTY — A Liberty man faces five charges connected to the sexual exploitation of a minor, according to a release from South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.
