Easley boys bash rival Pickens

EASLEY — Coming off a tough overtime loss to Greenwood, the Easley boys’ basketball team hosted Pickens on Friday night hoping to get over the hump with a rivalry win.
The Green Wave (9-15, 3-5 Region 1-4A) were able to do so in a big way as they demolished the Blue Flame (4-18, 0-8) 85-37.

The City of Pickens Police Department would like to thank the Pickens Rotary Club for a donation of $1,000 dollars to purchase Narcan for their officers. The donation allowed for the purchase of 44 doses of Narcan, a life saving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids, including heroin, fentanyl, and prescription opioid medications when given in time. PPD appreciates Rotary continued support and the work the club does in our community.
