LHS wrestlers dominate state individual meet

Easley YMCA honors late EPD officer Matthew Hale
EASLEY — The Easley YMCA announced the unveiling of the Officer Matthew Hare Multipurpose Room in a ceremony at the new Easley YMCA at the McKissick Campus last Thursday. The room is dedicated to the memory of Hare, a local hero who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty while serving in the Easley Police Department.

Pickens woman sentenced for meth trafficking

COUNTY — A local woman has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for trafficking methamphetamine.
Melanie Cromer McClain, 50, was found guilty on Feb. 7 of a third offense of trafficking between 10 and 28 grams of meth, 13th Circuit Solicitor Walt Wilkins said in a release.
