Gettys students involved in bus crash

GASTONIA, N.C. — Two charter school buses carrying Gettys Middle School students were involved in an accident Friday morning in North Carolina.

According to a statement from School District of Pickens County spokesman Darian Byrd, the accident occurred around 9:45 a.m. Friday, April 26, and involved one charter bus colliding with the second bus.
