Organizations team up for ‘Fighting Fentanyl’ event

EASLEY — Several organizations came together last week to educate the community about the deadly dangers of fentanyl.

Foothills Fentanyl Fight, Behavioral Health Services of Pickens County, the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office, the Youth Learning Institute and Summit Academy teamed up for the “Fighting Fentanyl” event held Oct. 29 at the Dream Center

Gray, Kuebler exchange vows at Founders Dairy

Olivia Michele Kuebler and Davis Scott Gray were married Oct. 5, 2024, at the Founders Dairy Barn at the Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill.

The bride is the daughter of Suzanne and Scott Kuebler of Fort Mill. The groom is the son of Bonnie and Scott Gray of Clemson.

Lindsay White officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony.

Abbey Kuebler, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. John Robert Ayers was best man.

The bride and groom are both graduates of Clemson University, where the two fell in love and bonded in their commitment to serve others.

The newlyweds honeymooned in St. Lucia and are excited to begin their lives together. They extend their heartfelt thanks to family, friends and loved ones for their support and love on their special day.

Robinson to serve as president of the National Funeral Directors Association

BROOKFIELD, Wis. — During its 2024 International Convention and Expo, held Oct. 20-23 in New Orleans, Christopher P. Robinson, CFSP, CCO, of Easley, was officially installed as the 2024-25president of the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA).

Robinson, a funeral service veteran with deep familial roots in the funeral profession, is the fourth funeral director from South Carolina
