PICKENS — A large crowd showed up at a town hall meeting Wednesday evening to discuss the city of Pickens’ proposed annexation of more than 200 acres at Wolf Creek School Road and Mauldin Lake Road.

Mayor Isaiah Scipio began the town hall by apologizing for the choice of venue, the main conference room of the county administration building in Pickens.
