911 system to receive upgrades
Sen. Larry Martin and Rep. Davey Hiott stopped by the Pickens County administrative building Monday to present a state check for $170,977.81 to county administrator Ralph Guarino for use in updating the county’s 911 system. The scheduled updates should make the 911 system more efficient, allowing emergency vehicles better access to homes in the county. From left are E911 coordinator Tasha Todd, Guarino, Martin and Hiott.
