Baptist Easley participates in National Pill Take-Back Day

EASLEY — Baptist Easley Hospital will be a drop-off site during the National Pill Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 18, from 10 am – 2 pm.

This is an opportunity for the public to rid their homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Medicines left in cabinets of area homes are subject to misuse and abuse and even theft. The day’s service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. The drugs will be disposed of safely without harm to the environment.

National Pill Take-Back Day is sponsored by the Pickens County Sherriff’s Office, the Easley Police Department, the Clemson Police Department, Steppin’ It Up Coalition, and Cannon Memorial Hospital, along with Baptist Easley.

Please drop off your unwanted pills at Baptist Easley Hospital’s Outpatient (front) entrance, 200 Fleetwood Drive
