Tuition for each class is only $88 ($78 for museum members). Pre-registration is required. Tuition must be paid prior to the first class.
You may register online at www.visitpickenscounty.com/calendar, in person, or by calling the Pickens County Museum at (864) 898-5963. Tuition may be paid by cash, check or charge. Johnston works predominantly in water media and collage. She worked as a freelance artist in high school and, after graduating from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College, spent 25 years working in the commercial art field for newspapers and furniture retail chains. Upon retiring from commercial art, she has enjoyed exploring the fine arts. She has taught art courses for both community college and retirement center groups. Johnston lives on a small farm in Pickens County and is currently working in mixed media featuring subjects that reflect some part of the not too distant past.
