EASLEY — After a storied volleyball career at Pickens High School, Kara Morgan will return to her home county for her first varsity head coaching job.

A former four-time all-region and all-state player for the Blue Flame, Morgan was announced last week as the new volleyball coach at Easley High School.

After a career at PHS that included multiple state championships and being named the Class 3A state player of the year by the High School Sports Report in 2008, Morgan earned a scholarship
