YOU WILL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to an Order of the Honorable Daniel E. Hunt, Special Referee for Pickens County, issued in the above captioned case, the said Special Referee will sell at public auction to the highest bidder for cash at or before the Courthouse in Pickens, South Carolina, at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Sales Day in July, 2017, the same being Monday,July 3, 2017, the following described tract of land located in Pickens County, South Carolina:
All that certain piece, parcel or lot of land lying and being situate in the State of South Carolina, County of Pickens, containing 1.273 acres, more or less, being shown and designated on a plat prepared by Robert Dale Kirk, PLS #16133, of Smith Surveyors, Inc., dated October 16, 2007 and recorded in Plat Book 591 at page 338 records of Pickens County, South Carolina, reference to which is invited for a more complete and accurate description.
BEING the property conveyed to David L. Hughes and Elizabeth A. Hughes by deed of H. E. Freeman dated August 12, 2014 and recorded in Deed Book 1625 at page 93, aforesaid records

The terms shall be for cash and the purchaser, or purchasers, shall pay for the deed and stamps. Any successful third party bidder shall pay intereston his or her bid from the date of sale, July3, 2017,until the date of compliance with his or her bidat a daily rate of $11.37. In the event the agent of Plaintiff does not appear at the time of sale, the within property shall be automatically withdrawn from sale and sold at the next available sales date upon the same terms and conditions as set forth in the Decree. A personal or deficiency judgment having been waived, the bidding will not remain open after the date of sale, but compliance with the bid may be made immediately. The successful bidder shall deposit with the Special Referee a certified check or cash in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid as evidence of good faith. In the event the purchaser fails or refuses to comply with the terms of the sale within twenty (20) days from the date of sale, the deposit shall be forfeited and applied first to the costs and expenses of this action including fee for the Plaintiff’s attorney. Next, any surplus will be held pending further Order of the Court. I shall then re-advertise and re-sell the property upon the same terms on a subsequent Sales Day at the risk of the former purchaser until obtaining full compliance with a sale.
The sale shall be subject to taxes and assessments, to existing easements and restrictions, and to any other senior encumbrances.

The Pickens County Planning Commission will meet inregular session and conduct public hearings on Monday,July 10, 2017, at 6:30 p.m.in the Main Conference Roomat the Pickens County Administration Facility, 222 McDaniel Avenue, Pickens, SC.
Prior to the regular meeting and public hearings, the Planning Commission will meet in a worksession at 6:00 p.m. in the same location.
The Planning Commission willhold public hearings on the following items:
