Bea also enjoyed sewing all of her children’s clothes. She dedicated her life to her family, so much so that Granny Bea could not wait to retire so she could keep the grandchildren whenever her kids needed some adult time. She especially enjoyed taking the grandchildren to the flea market and yard sales. Family vacations were always treasured, from taking her kids camping to going to the beach with her husband, adult children, and grandchildren. She was always up for a trip. However, those trips had to work around her weekly visits to the salon so she could get her curl just right. Bea was a lifelong member of Pickens Independent Baptist Church and loved serving her Lord.
