PICKENS — Four Special Olympians were recognized this week for their achievements.

Marcus Crowder, Ansley Hayes, Tyler Poole and Anne Smith will be representing Pickens County and South Carolina at the National Special Olympics in Seattle in July.

The four athletes were recognized by Pickens County Council
