Rumors of lewd activity unfounded, chief deputy says

EASLEY — The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office said last week that social media rumors about lewd activity on the Doodle Trail were unfounded.

According to a news release issued by chief deputy Creed Hashe, deputies were dispatched to provide assistance to the S.C. Highway Patrol after a call about a suspicious person on the Doodle Trail near Rice Road in Easley at around 7:15 p.m. June 12.
