Easley — Kim Elaine Masters, 54, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of Martha Ann Berryhill Masters and the late Harold Beaman Masters, Kim was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a sister, Rita Masters Dodgins of Easley; and a niece, Moriah Dodgins.
In addition to her father, Miss Masters was predeceased by a sister, Karen Ann Masters.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the Rev. Lewis Edwards officiating. Burial followed in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Thelma R. Burns
Liberty — Thelma Diana Ramey Burns, 62, of 404 Hunter Mill Road, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012.
Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Lula Belle Barton Ramey. Mrs. Burns was a homemaker and member of Liberty Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are two sons, Edwin Larry Burns, Jr. (Candis) of Liberty and Jeffrey Burns of Pickens; two grandchildren, Cailey Faye Burns and Evan Luke Burns; three sisters, Dorothy Kelly, Lola Rowland and Carolyn McCall all of Liberty; and two brothers, Floyd Ramey (Kay) and Michael Ramey (Ethel) all of Liberty.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Leard and a brother, James Alan Ramey.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. Burial followed in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Adrith Lesley
Pickens — Adrith Mahala Wooll Lesley, 51, of 111 Mountain Estate Road, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012. Born in Michigan she was a daughter of Emory Leonard Wooll and the late Mahala Boggs Wooll. She had previously been employed with Laurel Hill Nursing Center as a CNA and attended Midway Baptist Church. Adrith loved to spend time with her only grandson more than anything.
Surviving in addition to her father of Pleasant Gap, Pa. are her husband, William Bobby Lesley of the home; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Lesley of the home; a son, John William Lesley of the home; her grandson, Peyton James Lesley; numerous aunts & uncles, John and Ressie Crumpton, Cecil and Blanche Fowler, Cliff and Essie Metcalf, Luther and Carol Boggs, Roselene Williams, and Roy Smith.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by a brother, Emory Richard Wooll, and grandparents, William Miles and Clovie Julian Boggs.
Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Lesley were 1 p.m. Saturday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial was at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Larry Joe Garrett
Easley — Larry Joe Garrett, 72, of 226 Butler Road, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012.
Born in Anderson County, a son of the late Walter Harrison and Eunice Marchbanks Garrett, Mr. Garrett retired from Duke Power Company and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his loving wife, Doris Garrett; one special son, Ronald “Runt” Garrett, three other sons, one step-son, two step-daughters, two granddaughters, four grandsons, one brother, one sister, and a special cousin, Jerry Gardo.
Funeral services were 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial followed in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Genevieve Durham
Easley — Genevieve Roper Durham, 82, of Easley, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at Redeemer Health and Rehab in Pickens.
Mrs. Durham was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late John Spencer and Lydia Carpenter Roper. She was retired from Laurel Hill Nursing Center in Pickens where she worked in the dietary department and later served as a personal care giver. She was a member of Elljean Baptist Church and the T.E.L. Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her sons, Ronnie Durham (Rita) and Barry Durham (Sandy Gillespie) all of Pickens, the father of her children, Ray Durham of Pickens, grandchildren, Slade Durham, Scarlett Griffith, Scott Durham, Matt Durham, and Andy Durham. Great grandchildren include Katy Griffith, Eli Durham, Olivia Durham, Bryant Durham, and Avery Durham. Also surviving is a brother, Brock Roper, and a sister, Faith Couch.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Durham was preceded in death by brothers, Coley, Jake, and Terry Roper, and sisters, Sybil Dalton, Jo Hunter, Helen Masters, and Nell Howell.
A graveside service was held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens with the Rev. Robert Fowler and Dr. Bob Couch officiating.

Pickens — Ella Mae Henry Galloway, 84, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012.
Born in Franklin, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Noah and Estelle Dryman Henry. Mrs. Galloway was retired from Sangamo and attended Gap Hill Holiness Church.
Surviving is her daughter, Marie Nealy Dubon (Isidro) of Six Mile; six grandchildren, Jimmy Duncan, Dustin Nealy, Billy Miller, Jessie Miller, Chris Miller, and Crystal Miller; and a sister, Mattie Reid of Pickens.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sons, David Lee Miller, Luther Ray Miller, Jr., and Clifford Earl Miller; two grandchildren, Tracy Duncan McAlister and Robert Miller; five brothers and a sister.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Judy Lynn Morton Brissey
Pickens — Judy Lynn Morton Brissey, age 52, wife of Mike Junior Brissey, died Monday Nov. 12, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Brissey was born in Pickens; the daughter of Margaret Faye Cantrell Morton, and the late William Alvin Morton. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband of many years, three sisters; Margaret Edens of Liberty, Norma Swafford of Pickens, and Littia Brissey of Rosman, N.C.
Mrs. Brissey was predeceased by her father, and one brother Rudy Morton.
Graveside services were 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 in Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Milford Powell
Pickens — Milford Powell, age 82, husband of Celia Kathleen Cantrell Powell, died Nov. 14, 2012.
Mr. Powell was a member of Cannon Mtn. Baptist Church; the son of the late Hattie Porter and Clarence V. Powell. He was retired from Singer.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, a daughter; Judy O’Shields (Daniel), sons; Gary Powell, Ricky Powell (Kaye) and Tommy Powell (Gail), sisters; Wilma McWhorter, Bonnie Reeves, Patsy Duncan, Louise Duncan, brothers; Calvin, Wallace, Harold Powell, grandchildren Eric and Lacie Powell, Amanda Adams, Matthew, Tyler, Rebecca O’Shields, Great-Grandchildren; Breeanna and Zander Adams, Hannah and Kirstie Powell.
Mr. Powell was predeceased by his parents, daughters; Barbara Ann Powell, twins Sheila and Sharon Powell, brothers; Milton, Leroy, Earl, Charles, Doug Powell and grandsons; Travis Allen Powell and Justin O’Shields.
A Chapel Service was 3 p.m. Sunday Nov. 18 at Dillard Funeral Home. Burial was at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.

Frances Elizabeth Russo Pinson
Six Mile — Frances Elizabeth Dillard Russo Pinson, age 88, wife of the late William Russo, died Tuesday Nov. 13, 2012 at Windsor House, Spartanburg.
Mrs. Pinson was born in Pickens County, and was the daughter of the late Louella Bell and Asbury Luther Dillard. She was a member of Six Mile Baptist Church. She retired from Pickens County Board of Disability and Special Needs. She was also an employee of Tamassee DAR School.
Survivors include one son, Thomas M. Russo and wife Gerrie two daughters Maria Rhys and husband Carlos of Simpsonville, Deborah Sentell of Six Mile and one granddaughter; Tonya Michelle Robertson of Jasper, Ga.
A Chapel Service was 3 p.m. Friday Nov. 16 at Dillard Funeral Home. Burial was at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.

Clifton C. Morris
Easley — Mr. Clifton Charles Morris, 88, husband of the late Louise Smith Morris, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at Manna Health and Rehab.
Born in Charlotte, N.C., a son of the late Alvin and Pauline Wilson Morris, Mr. Morris retired from the lumber industry.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas Morris (Tammy), Buck Morris (Margaret) and Ricky Morris (Sue), all of Easley; two daughters, Deborah M. Trimnel (Frank) of Pickens and Evelyn M. Bagwell of Easley; a son-in-law, Donnie Brown; 25 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Morris was predeceased by a daughter, Martha M. Brown; a son-in-law, Jim Bagwell; three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial followed in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.

James W. Perry
Easley — Mr. James Whitner Perry, 69, husband of Maybelle Porter Perry, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital-Downtown.
Born in Easley, a son of the late Cecil and Ethel Hann Perry, Mr. Perry retired from Mayfair Mills and was a member of Easley Church of God.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 30, are a son, Brian Perry (Tonya) of Easley; three daughters, Marie Wimpey (Ricky) of Pickens, Renee Ellis (Steve) of Easley, and Tammy Mullins (Allen) of Rock Hill; a brother, Eugene Perry of Panama City, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the Rev. Brandon Wimpey officiating.

Rosa Bell Stephens
Easley — Rosa Bell Bolding Stephens, 95, of Easley, wife of the late James Ivey “J.I.” Stephens, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at Majesty Health & Rehab.
Born in Six Mile, a daughter of the late Robert MacDuffy “Duff” and Nissie Catherine Parsons Bolding, Mrs. Stephens was a member of Secona Baptist Church where she belonged to the Ladies Friendship Class.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Dean Stephens Brown of Pickens and Juanita “Neta” Hughes (Eddie) of Liberty; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Stephens was predeceased by six brothers, Obie Bolding, George Bolding, Cleo Bolding, Harold Bolding, Woodrow Bolding, and James H. Bolding; by a sister, Flora Bolding; and a grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1 until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
