Baptist Easley’s Festival of Trees to start on Dec. 4
EASLEY — The Baptist Easley Hospital Foundation’s 19th annual Festival of Trees will be held Dec. 3-26.
Free and open to the public, this year’s Festival will feature 36 sponsored decorated trees, donated wreaths, and decorated gingerbread houses.
The festival is open 9 a.m.-8 p.m. daily in the hospital concourse and atrium.
The Festival of Trees opens with the annual Lovelight Tree Lighting on Monday, Dec. 4, at 5:30 p.m. Sponsored by the hospital auxiliary, proceeds from purchased lights on the Lovelight Tree go to fund the Lifeline program. A $5 donation in the name of a loved one buys a light on the tree. This year’s honorary tree lighter is Roddey E. Gettys, III, CEO of Baptist Easley, who has served the hospital for 43 years.
Gingerbread houses and decorated wreaths can be purchased by the highest bidder between Dec. 12-15.
All proceeds from the Festival of Trees will be used to purchase equipment for Baptist Easley Hospital.
