NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an action has been commenced and is now pending before this Court upon Complaint of the above named Plaintiff against the above named Defendants, seeking to quiet title and confirm tax sale of certain real property, which property was, at the time of the commencement of this action and at all times thereafter, including the date of the filing of this notice, situate in Pickens County, South Carolina, and more fully described as follows, to wit:
“ALL that certain piece, parcel or tract of land situate, lying and being in the State of South Carolina, County of Pickens, City of Pickens, this property is bordered on the east by land snow or formerly of Blue Ridge Electric Coop and fronted by Rosemond Street; it is bounded on the North by lands now of formerly owned by John D. Jones; bounded on the South West by lands now of formerly owned by Blue Ridge Electric Coop; bounded on the South East by lands now or formerly owned by Bailey Keasler and Iris M. Robinson; bounded on the West by land now of formerly of Blue Ridge Electric Coop., and bounded on the East by Rosemond Street.”
This being the same property conveyed to Sylvester Montgomery by Pickens County Tax Deed dated December 16, 2010 and recorded in Deed Book 1368, Page 198 in the Register of Deeds Office for Pickens County, South Carolina.

Purchaser shall pay any current or delinquent property taxes assessed against the property. Purchaser shall pay for deed preparation, deed stamps, recording the deed, and the auctioneer’s commission. Plaintiff waives its request for a deficiency judgment. If Plaintiff or its representative does not appear at the Sale, then the sale shall be postponed.
This sale is made subject to the United States of America’s statutory right of redemption for 120 days from the date of sale.

NOTICE TO CITIZENS OF
OCONEE AND PICKENS COUNTY:
Pursuant to the South Carolina Eminent Domain Procedure Act, Section 28-2-70(c), Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, as amended, notice is hereby given that entry by personnel of the South Carolina Department of Transportation will be made in the area of the roads described below for such purposes as topographic surveys, subsurface exploration, environmental related studies, and for the gathering of any other data necessary for the planning, design, property acquisition, and construction of a drainage improvement project.
The proposed project is located just south of the City of Clemson in Pickens County and extends along (L-195) Old Stadium Rd, (S-22) Cherry Rd, and (S-149) W Cherry Rd from (L-320) Perimeter Rd to (S-115) W Queen St. The proposed project may include, but is not limited to, installation of a paved ADA compliant shared-use path and pedestrian crossings.
The purpose of this project is to provide improved access and an alternative means of transportation between residents and Clemson University.
