PICKENS — On a night where the Pickens Blue Flame hoped to prove themselves the class of Region I-4A, things fell apart almost instantaneously on Friday night.

Facing off against one of the top 10 Class 4A teams in the state, Westside, Pickens struggled to stop the speed of the Rams and was unable to withstand an onslaught of first-half scoring in a 56-6 loss.
