YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED and required to answer the Complaint in this action and to serve a copy of your answer to said Complaint upon the subscriber, at his office by mail at Post Office Box 11803, Columbia, South Carolina 29211 or by hand-delivery at 1901 Main Street, Suite 1200, Columbia, South Carolina 29201, within thirty (30) days after the service hereof, exclusive of the day of such service, and if you fail to answer the Complaint within the time aforesaid, judgment by default will be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.

LEGAL NOTICE

The Pickens County Planning Commission will meet in regular session and conduct public hearings on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Conference Room at the Pickens County Administration Facility, 222 McDaniel Avenue, Pickens, SC.

Prior to the regular meeting and public hearings, the Planning Commission will meet in a worksession at 6:00 p.m. in the same location.

In order to follow current CDC social distancing guidelines, seating in the Conference Room may be limited.

The Planning Commission will hold public hearings on the following items:

1. SDV-20-0006 Randall Molloseau requesting a subdivision variance from the Pickens County development standards regarding the division of property on a private residential access. The subject tract is located on Smith Memorial Highway, Six Mile. The property owner of record is Tony Stephens.

2. SDV-21-0001 Debbie Blair requesting a subdivision variance from the pickens County development standards regarding the placement of a second dwelling on a parcel less than 1.00 acres in size. The property is located at 642 Golden Creek Road, Liberty. The property owner of record is Debbie Blair.

NOTICE

IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Pickens, a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of South Carolina, intends to file a Petition pursuant to S.C. Code Section 57-9-10, et. seq., for abandonment of a portion of Dean Street, a roadway owned and maintained by the City of Pickens. The portion of Dean Street to be abandoned is identified as 6,932 sq. ft. of a 50 foot wide right of way. Said area is 0.16 acres and bordered on the northeast by property owned by Ace Sales Consultations, Inc. identified by Tax Map Parcel No. 4180-00-49-5522; and bordered on the northwest by property owned by Richard Tillies and Joanna Tillies identified by Tax Map Parcel No.: 4180-00-45-5654; and, bordered on the southeast by property owned by Lisa Neel and John Neel identified by Tax Map Parcel No. 4180-00-49-7501.
