• Wild game supper planned at Red Hill

March 11 is the date for the Rudy Hayes Fishers of Men Wild Game Supper at Red Hill Baptist Church. Guest speaker will be Bass Masters chaplain Chris Wells, and New Dixie Storm, a local bluegrass band, will be providing the music entertainment. There will be door prizes, vendors to meet and wild game and other delicious foods, and it is all is free. Everyone is invited to join for the event, set to start at 6 p.m. March 11 at Red Hill Baptist Church, located at 558 Red Hill Road in Pickens.

• Local friends and newcomers to meet

The Tri-County Friends and Newcomers will meet the second Monday of each month through April 2022. The group has a new meeting location in the Powdersville Branch Library off S.C. Highway 81.
