• CRO starts Dolly’s Imagination Library
Cliffs Residents Outreach, a nonprofit supporting education in Pickens County, recently launched Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in the following Pickens ZIP codes: 29685, 29635, 29661 and 29671.
For more information and to register, visit imaginationlibrary.com. The program mails free books monthly to registered children from birth to 5 years old.
• Open house set for McKinney Chapel
Everyone is invited to visit the historic McKinney Chapel at the Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards, located at 1655 Cleo Chapman Road in Pickens County.
An open house will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 14.
Repair and maintenance of the beloved chapel and graveyard are extensive and need immediate and costly attention.

• Easley first UMC set to host yard sale
Easley First United Methodist Church will host a church yard sale on Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Lots of items will be for sale. Easley First United Methodist Church is located at 115 W. 1st Ave. in Easley. For more information about the huge sale, call Mary Boggess at (864) 887-0520.
• Easley Museum to open on 1st Fridays
The Easley Area Museum has expanded hours of operation that will now include the first Friday of each month.
Starting April 1, the museum will be open to the public from 1-5 p.m. Normal hours will continue for every Saturday and Sunday from 1-5 p m. or by appointment.
