Simons stands out in Lions’ record-breaking win over Greer

CENTRAL — Since taking over the Daniel High School football program in 2016, Jeff Fruster has had a lot of big wins, including State championship game victories each of the last two seasons.
Ranking near the top with those wins may well be the Lions’ 51-21 season-opening triumph over Greer on Friday night at Singleton Field — Daniel’s school-record 25th straight win.
