At the September monthly Board meeting of the Pickens County Historical Society, the Pickens Garden Club was presented with a plaque of appreciation for its decades of caring for the Rose Garden at the historic Hagood-Mauldin House and Irma Morris Museum of Fine Arts, a cultural centerpiece of the Pickens community.
