Tigers ‘respond’ to end Cardinals’ hot streak

CLEMSON — The Clemson Tigers won at home for the 39th straight time on Saturday, as they responded to a pair of disappointing performances with a dominant 31-16 win over Louisville.
“The word this week was just ‘respond,’” linebacker Barrett Carter said. “(The coaches) challenged us to respond this week after the loss (to Notre Dame), and I think we did that tonight.”
