EASLEY — The “One Voice” youth choir from First Baptist Church in Easley will present a musical entitled “His Love Flowing” at Easley First Baptist Church this weekend.
The musical will be presented as a dinner theater on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday morning at 10:15 a.m.
The cost of the tickets for the dinner theater on Saturday night are as follows: Adults and Youth (over 16) — $7 and Children — $5.
The 45-voice touring mixed choir is conducted by Chris Clark and Rick Baumgarner. Admission is free (a free will offering will be collected to assist the choir in digging wells in Africa).
The musical consists of various styles of music all centered on the theme of water and the life-giving change Christ can make in a person’s life. The drama that accompanies the music is based upon African stories.
One Voice is comprised of students in grades 6-12 who attend seven different schools, but all attend First Baptist Church Easley. The choir leads regularly in worship services at the church, attends regional choir festivals, and tours each summer. In recent years the choir has toured throughout the Southeast. With this year’s tour, the “His Love Flowing Tour,” the choir hopes to offer renewal and new life in Jesus Christ.
Easley First Baptist Church is located at 300 East First Avenue, Easley. Please call (864) 859-4052 or visit http://www.efbc.org/hisloveflowingtour for more information.
