The Porkette, also know as the Parkette, recently held the grand opening for its new, larger location at 103 W. Main St. in Pickens. The barbecue resturant and catering service is open for lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, for dinner 5-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday for dine-in or takeout.
