COUNTY — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is investigating after the suspect in an Easley armed robbery was shot and killed by Greenville County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the man shot as 45-year-old Sean Michael Scales of Mauldin.
