Pickens Revitalization Association

In light of Small Business Month, Pickens Revitalization Association is committed to supporting our local businesses. Alongside the Gift of Pickens program, PRA has developed the Shop Local. Shop Historic Pickens. campaign to feature businesses here in Pickens and the products and services offered.

This campaign really allows us to focus on what is available here in Pickens, especially as people begin their holiday shopping. We want our small businesses to be the first place people think to shop and dine during the holiday season.

The first three businesses featured are Stockade ‘n Stuff Antiques, Hiott Printing Company and The Corner Drug Store.

Built in 1936 by the WPA to house the male prisoners of Pickens County, Stockade ‘n Stuff Antiques is now home to some of the state’s finest antiques. The shop features fine English and American antiques from the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries and a a cross-section of European and Asian pieces. Whether it is a fine piece of furniture for your home, or pottery, porcelain, depression glass, pewter, teacups or vintage crocks, we have a great selection of antiques from local estates. Come marvel in the mysteries of the old jail as you preview antiques that may become your family’s heirlooms. Owned and operated by Jeannie Gilstrap at 2932 Gentry Memorial Highway, Stockade ‘n Stuff Antiques is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
