CLEMSON — A Greenville man was arrested and charged with three counts of unlawful communications after Clemson police believe he made sexual phone calls to a 14-year-old girl and her mother.

Last Thursday, the Clemson Police Department received a complaint that a man had been calling a 14-year-old girl on a cell phone with “extremely sexual connotations as part of the conversation.”
After repeated calls, the girl’s cell phone was turned off, officers said. At that point, the man began calling the girl’s mother and using the same type of language.

Upon investigation, a third victim was also found to have been called by the same man, with the man “expressing sexual favors.”

A female officer then made contact with the suspect, arranging for him to meet her at a specified location in Clemson, according to police.

At approximately 10 p.m., the suspect arrived to meet the officer and was arrested without incident.
Michael Anthony Locke, 22, of Greenville, was arrested and is currently being held at the Pickens County Detention Center on a $3,276 surety bond.

Locke faces a maximum penalty of a fine of $1,092 or 30 days in jail for each count.
