COUNTY — Because of extreme cold weather, schools in the School District of Pickens County will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, January 7. Classes will begin at 10 a.m.

Also, morning 4K classes are cancelled; afternoon 4K classes will continue as normal. Employees will report to work at their normal times.

The purpose of the delay is to allow it to warm up outside before children have to wait at their bus stops.
