Matthew Wimpey of Pickens competed in the Pepsi USBC Youth Championships in Columbia this past Sunday. Bowlers had to bowl six games, and Wimpey finished in the Top 15 percent of 428 bowlers with a total score of 1529, finishing in eighth place. He will return this Saturday for the state finals in Columbia.
