PICKENS — Grace United Methodist Church will celebrate local first responders at special worship services on Sunday at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.

Pickens County Sheriff Rick Clark will speak at 10:30 a.m., followed by a luncheon for first responders and their families hosted by the church.

The Rev. James McCoy-Bruce, senior pastor, will preach at the 8:30 a.m. service, followed by coffee and light refreshments, for first responders and family members who would like to attend the 8:30 a.m. contemporary service.

All first responders in the area are invited to these special events, which will celebrate the heroic and selfless service provided by local law enforcement and emergency personnel.
