EASLEY — Baptist Easley Hospital recently named Tim Baxley, MD, as the Cam Underhill Practicing Excellence Physician of the Quarter award winner.
The award is based on the Baptist Easley medical staff standards of behavior: integrity, compassion and competence.
Baxley is associated with Clemson Neurology. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Baxley’s nominations stated: “I am a breast cancer survivor. This physician is the only doctor of several doctors I see on a regular basis who listens, responds and demonstrates a caring attitude. My husband passed away unexpectedly, and this physician was the only doctor to hand-write a sympathy letter. He continues to surprise me with the many different ways he expresses care and follow-through. His manner is gentle, thorough and you never feel rushed. He does not sit across the room with a computer in his lap and ask questions. He feels your pulse, listens to your heartbeat, tests your reflexes. He gathers information not only by asking questions but also first-hand by actually engaging with me and listening to me.”
