PICKENS — A town hall meeting is scheduled for Tuesday to discuss renovations at the Hagood Community Center.

The meeting, scheduled for 5:15 p.m., is open to the public.

Community members will be able to hear details about the renovations planned for the auditorium at the center, also known as the Pickens Senior Center. Upcoming programming, which will be made possible by some of the renovations planned, will also be discussed. Community input is welcomed on future activities.

The National Endowment for the Arts will help, through a $25,000 Our Town grant, with the design and programming for the auditorium.

Also the former home of the Pickens Mill School, the center will offer a meal for $5 following the meeting.
