Lions looking to bounce back after disappointing ‘17

CENTRAL — The Daniel Lions had one of their worst seasons in recent memory in 2017. Coming off an above-average season in coach Jeff Fruster’s first year at the helm, the Lions had no idea of the adversity they would face last season, as they finished just 2-9.
However, Fruster believes the lessons learned from last season’s debacle will put the Lions back on the right track as he enters his third season as coach.
“I learned quite a bit from last season,” Fruster said. “Last year we had to deal with adversity, we learned about falling short of our goals, but there were also positives to be taken away from last year.
