Blue Flame come up short in scrappy affair at Hillcrest

PICKENS — Following a dominant performance in week one, the Pickens Blue Flame were tasked with facing the Class 5A Hillcrest Rams in week two in a nail biting game that came down to the wire.
A scrappy affair fought with blood, sweat and tears on both sidelines saw the Rams come out on top by a final score of 28-13, as Pickens’ self-inflicted wounds proved to be too much to overcome.
