EASLEY — The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that it was investigating after a body was found near the entrance to the South Carolina Upper State Fairgrounds in Easley.

According to a news release sent out by Chief Deputy Chad Brooks, EMS workers dispatched to a report of an unresponsive person at 3800 Calhoun Memorial Highway in the early-morning hours
