Cannon welcomes two new foundation board members
PICKENS — Cannon Memorial Hospital welcomed two new additions to its Foundation Board at the Aug. 4 meeting. Burnett Kelly and Clayton Kerr will join the current board.
Returning members to[cointent_lockedcontent] the Cannon Foundation Board are board chair Clarence (Junior) Gibson, vice chair Liza Holder and secretary Alex Gettys. Other
board members include Lucy Harward, Tunkie Stokes, John Sparks, Dr. Jim Mahanes, Robin Giddings and Karen Roper.
“It is great to see you have interest in serving our community by becoming a board member here with the Cannon Foundation,” Gibson said in welcoming the two new members. “We endeavor to raise funds to provide needed equipment, training, and education to better serve our area. Your service and experience will greatly add to our ability to do that.”
Kelly has been an executive coach for Korn/Ferry Leadership and Talent Consulting for the past 10 years, with an extensive background as a senior executive with a unique mix of global operations, human resources and legal experiences in large, multi-national organizations. Prior to Korn/Ferry, Burnett completed 23 years with Dow Corning Corporation, where he retired from his position as corporate VP and chief human resources officer.
Kerr completed his commercial lending curriculum at East Carolina University. In 1995 he received his certified credit executive professional certification from the National Association of Credit Management. After a 22-year career in the banking field, Clayton took a regulatory job with the National Credit Union Administration as a federal examiner. In 2010, Clayton started the commercial lending division for Greenville Federal Credit Union. His love of Pickens brought him back home in January 2014, when he began his current career as the president/CEO of Pickens Federal Credit Union.[/cointent_lockedcontent]
