Agencies team to help after Hurricane Helene

COUNTY — The days following the destruction brought by Hurricane Helene last month have been filled with local agencies assisting residents, state agencies assisting county agencies and area residents helping their neighbor to the north.

Early voting available to county voters

COUNTY — Early Voting is now available to voters statewide for the Nov. 5 Statewide General Election.

In Pickens County, five early voting centers will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Early voting began on Monday, Oct. 21st and closes

County to host small business events

PICKENS — Pickens County announced that the county will host drop-in events for local small business owners today and Thursday.

Those who attend will be able to speak with the county’s small business liaison, Brittney Chapman, according to the announcement.

Lions win county golf tournament
