Reverend Homer Smith

Easley — The Reverend Homer Smith, 89, of Easley, went home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2017.

Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late James Frank and Bernice Black Smith.

Homer served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. After the service, he pursued a theological degree from Owosso Bible College and also Southern Pilgrim College.

Rev. Smith pastored churches in South Carolina, Alabama and North Carolina for 50+ years.
