Liberty — Blanche Naomi Alexander Dodson, 88, of 227 Alta Vista Drive, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015.

Born in Easley, she was the widow of Edward W. “Buck” Dodson Sr. and the daughter of the late Foster Pickens and Maggie Brucie Vaughn Alexander.

Pickens — Pearl Clemones Nix, 84, formerly of Pickens, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at Ellenburg Nursing Center in Anderson.

Born in LaGrange, Ga., she was the widow of John B. Nix and a daughter of the late James Isaiah Clemones and Ollie Mae Roberson Clemones Farlow. She was retired from Brunswick Yarns and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Easley — Mrs. Margaret Leila McGimpsey Masters, 97, of 304 Old Stagecoach Road, wife of the late Alonzo Floyd “Red” Masters, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, at Manna Health and Rehab in Pickens.

Mrs. Masters was born on Jan. 8, 1917, in Boydeton, Va., to the late Walter Alexander McGimpsey and Cora McGimpsey Norman. Mrs. Masters was retired from Mayfair Mills Glenwood Plant as a weaver and in her free time enjoyed writing poetry, painting and spending time with her family. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Six Mile.

Ted Wilson, Sr.

EASLEY — Ted Wilson, Sr., 76, husband of Jean Hill Wilson, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at his home in Easley. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many, he was born in Rock Hill, S.C., son of Daniel Woodrow and Eleanor Caskey Wilson.

Mr. Wilson retired from Perrigo Pharmaceutical Company and was a member of First United Methodist Church Easley, where he was a former Sunday School teacher and youth leader. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, coin collecting, and reading. He was a graduate of Wofford College, where he received a football scholarship.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Donna W. Roy of Easley, Delaine W. Childress (Jeff) of Seneca, and a son, Donald Ted Wilson, Jr. (Kim) of Easley; five grandchildren, Erica Roy, Emory Childress, Georgia Childress, Jarrett Wilson, and Maddie Wilson; and a brother, Kenneth L. Wilson (Marianne) of Garner, N.C.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Maj. Jerry W. Wilson and a sister, Betty Jean Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at First United Methodist Church Easley on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 3
