Clemson discusses changing city election method

CLEMSON — Now that another election cycle has come and gone, Clemson City Council reviewed the pros and cons of plurality against majority-runoff election methods for future city elections.
Under the majority method the city uses, the winner of the election is the candidate who receives more than 50 percent of all the votes. A runoff is required if there is no outright
