CLEMSON — Clemson University will be implementing a clear bag policy at graduations.

The policy will be implemented at Friday’s August graduation ceremony and will be in place for all graduation ceremonies going forward, according to a university news release.

The policy is similar to one already in place for basketball games in Littlejohn Coliseum and prohibits non-clear bags or purses, backpacks, artificial noisemakers and bags larger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches, the release said. Other prohibited items include banners/flags/poles, coolers, outside food or beverages and weapons of any kind.
